Empowered women create stronger communities. In its fight against gender based violence, Pride Initiative Conducted a GBV response training targeting 90 women selected from villages surrounding Ngowe, Namicheni and Bereu flood displacement camps. Most women and girls face GBV issues in flood camps in their quest foe food, shelter and clothing as unscruprous men tend to take advantage of their situation.
